Airend Rebuild Warranty

Rotary screw airends require expertise and special equipment to properly rebuild. Our repair center has more than ten years experience rebuilding rotary screw airends. We stand behind our service work with a one year limited warranty.

Rebuild Service

A damaged airend screw (rotor).

Repaired airend screw (rotor).

When we rebuild an airend it includes:

Installation of new bearings, gaskets and seals
Remetalizing and grinding of shafts and rotors
When necessary repair of front and rear housing
Repair sealing strips and rotors and oil pump
For Ingersoll Rand, Sullair, Gardner Denver and Compair encapsulated airends, we install new filters and air/oil separators
On direct drive airends, we service the electric motor. Service includes cleaning windings, bakeout, and installing new bearings and seals

Oil-free air end rebuild includes:

OEM bearings
Removal and recoating of teflon coated internals
Balancing of rotors
Seals, gaskets, balance pistons, and related parts

Airend rebuild does not include a replacement gear set. If the gear set needs replacement, a price adder will be given after inspection.

In the unusual event that after inspection our service department determines the airend is beyond repair, we will contact you and explain why it cannot be repaired. You will be refunded the airend rebuild charge less inbound and outbound freight.

How We Get Your Airend Back To You ASAP

Once you have placed an order with eCompressedair to have an airend rebuilt, we quickly begin the process to get it repaired and back in service. Normal turnaround with shipping is two business weeks.

After you place your order, eCompressedair contacts you and provides shipping instructions.
You skid your airend and ship it per our instructions
Airend arrives at our repair center. The airend is inspected and enters our rebuild process
Airend rebuild is completed in 3 to 5 business days
Unit is skidded and packaged appropriately and shipped back to your location
