Posi-Drain The Posi-Drain is a good retrofit for float and other solenoid drain valves. Solenoid valves have a tendency to fail when sludge and scale accumulate. See the Posi-Drain Brochure (pdf format) for more information.

The Posi-Drain's dual time feature not only makes installation easy, but the drain is useful over a wide range of applications without wasting air. In addition, the use of two lights for indicating power on and valve open status further simplifies installation and makes visual checks easy. The rugged non-corrossive NEMA-4X enclosure with its mounting tabs provides versatility for many types of installation requirements.
  • Self Cleaning Action - Each time the plunger moves up and down the face of the valve seat is wiped clean by the seal disc.
  • Straight Through Design - When the solenoid is energized, the plunger and seal are lifted so that the condensate flows straight through. Other solenoid valve designs force contaminants to travel in a dirt catching “S” shaped flow.
